Gill and Noel Garnham run the shop with a hands on approach. The busy coffee shop downstairs sells freshly made sandwiches, gorgeous home made cakes, ‘Afternoon Tea’ and hot and cold drinks.

The atmosphere is warm, friendly and very special and our lovely staff are always ready to welcome you.

Speaking of history – this building has seen a thing or two. Back in the day, when it was a coaching inn, the upper floor was rumoured to host occasional card games and friendly wagers among travellers. Of course, those brick‑and‑mortar gambling dens are a thing of the past. Nowadays, if you’re in the mood for a little thrill, you don’t need to search for a land‑based venue – just pull up a chair and enjoy a 5 deposit casino from your phone, with a small stake and big fun, while sipping our fresh brew.
